Oh I totally agree with you. We just got some new DVD's. Those annoying tape seals on all 3 sides of the case. It took 15 minutes to get into each one. Then, what really gets me, they spend all that money taping you out, there's not even a piece of paper inside the case. Not a single scene selection or movie info. Nothing!! They can waste money to keep you out, but can't tell you a darn thing about the movie you're about to watch. It's crazy and it irritates me to no end.
Great post and I'm with you all the way!!

Definitely annoyed at all those stupid seals! And lately when I've removed them from cd cases only the top layer comes off and the sticky crap stays on the case, it sucks! Why do they need all those seals UNDER the shrink wrap. If you steal a cd or dvd and have the patience to make it through all that "security" crap, you deserve your reward.

Absolutely.
And I'll take the movie industry to task on two other "Public Announcements":
1: When you can't fast forward through the "Federal Warning" listing the punishment for piracy (In English and French!).
2: The "Don't steal movies" PA's at the movies. I'm at the friggin movies, and you just forced me to watch 10 friggin commercials before your flick. How about you reduce the price of admission now that you are making extra coin by letting me know how much I can save on my car insurance!?!

Here, here! The wrapping is just annoying and I hate it when I wreck the covers trying to pick the tape stuff off. There has to be something easier and more customer-friendly out there.

What a pain! Why do they feel the need to seal them on both ends, AND in the middle?

Man that pisses me off!!! What I hate is that you end up destroying the case just trying to open it. Its a conspiracy by rich industrialists to make sure people ruin their own goods, so they buy more.
