No, he probably doesn't know, and probably doesn't care. Time and against there have been reports that he doesn't care about polls, what people think. Heck, he doesn't even listen to HIS OWN people if they disagree with his/cheny's stated direction.

Alas, he hasn't just let down the Americans, but created problems for people all over the world. And, yes, Tony Blair is just as bad. Unfortunately there is no point in voting (hence Tony being the least voted FOR Prime Minister since we allowed women the vote), as the alternatives are no better. In the UK it used to be a choice between Hitler or Stalin, though our Labour party is now more akin to Hitler too. Unfortunately, in the US your choice is between Hitler or Mussolini.
Good luck, democracy sucks. As Winston Churchill once said, 'Democracy only looks good when you look at the alternatives', bring back rule by Absolute Monarchy.
