If the Dems think I am going to sit and them turn my Democracy into a Socialist country they are sadly mistaken.
How about less social welfare and more education.

Raise taxes, impeach Bush, amnesty to all 30 million illegals, impeach Bush, turn Iraq into a bigger version of Afghanistan (pre 911) and impeach Bush. Oh yeah, did I say impeach Bush? And then ensure that a Dem will not be elected president in 2008.

National health care -like every other industrialized nation has
Re-deploy from Iraq to Afganistan - win the winnable one
Roll back tax cuts for the super wealthy - poor people's taxes are helping the rich buy yachts
Reverse NAFTA and other trade agreements that hurt American Jobs
Raise the minimum wage - it's been 10 years
Increase federal spending on education grants
Make industrial hemp legal - a valuable agricultural product
This is a start
So many more things, can't even think of them all right now.
Adding this in response to the poster's question:
Very good, you've recognized that our country doesn't run on a single system of thought. I bet you never realized that in addition to capitalism, we have socialism in this country. This is not new and in fact has helped us become the strong nation we are.
Social Security, Government sponsored student loans, food stamps, the progressive tax rate.. etc. All of these are "socialist" ideas, but guess what, they also work.

Wow. "If the Dems think I am going to sit and them turn my Democracy into a Socialist country they are sadly mistaken." You've sat back and watched it slowly turn into a fascist state...Does that bother you at all? It bothers me tremendously. I will vote for change this November.

Restore the constitution by restricting the "scooped" powers of the executive, examine the facts about the war on terror and decide on a sensible strategy to combat terrorism as far as reasonable and practical, restore our good relations with the rest of the world, fund the INS so it can do what it couldn't before, address the widening income gap and spur the economy by taking a systemic approach.
Want more? I have lots.

Probably the same as last time. Raise taxes and then pass a few gun laws so they can pretend to be fighting crime even tho its been proven time and again that gun control doesnt work. Oh, I almost forgot. Then they will stick their fingers in their ears, close their eyes and run around in circles yelling NO NO NO whenever theres a problem and follow up by having a press conference to tell everyone how great everythings going.
