on your messenger window, click the messenger tab in the upper left corner, you'll have a dropdown tab click the display image tab, and then you'll have another smaller window open where you can browse photos on your computer or use your avatar. once you select a photo,click share my photo, and the ok button, your photo doesn't always show up if youre signed in as invisible.

modify your personal profile on yahoo and you will get the option to browse and upload your picture!
