Try cold cabbage compress, pull sme green cabbage leaves, store them in the freezer and once frozen wrap around your breast for a couple of minutes, do this for a couple of days and your milk supply should decrease. I will contact your Lactation Consultant or La Leche League to avoid getting mastitis or engorgement which is very painful
Good luck to you

You can continue to have breast milk months even years after you stop nursing. Everyone's body is different. My milk doesn't dry up or stop producing until almost 6 months after I finished nursing. Doctor said this is normal. I didn't leak or anything but it was there. Don't worry it will go away.

Why did you stop breast feeding? You could put that breast milk to good use, pump it into a bottle for him. Your body obviously does not have an off switch so use it instead of waste it

Try wrapping your breasts tightly in an ace bandage, the pressure will help the milk dry up. Also, I have heard chilled cabbage leaves in your bra are helpful. Try not to stimulate your breasts at all, be careful of pressing on them or even letting water hit them in the shower. You could also contact a lactation consultant, there might be one on staff at the hospital where you had your son.

You can have breast milk up to six months after stopping breastfeeding. Some women have even had breastmilk up to a year.

it really is recommended you refrigerate your milk at present day after pumping. it really is going to only be used for some hours out of the refrigerator. It lasts about 3 days contained in the refrigerator. it really is nice 4-6 months contained in the freezer and as a lot as 8 months (i imagine) in a deep freezer. wish this helps!

Stop checking. Checking stimulates your breasts to continue making milk.

It lasts for a while. The doctor has pills that will dry it up for you, but if you are not having any discomfort with engorging, then I would just let nature take it's course.
