Well my husband isn't lazy, he just doesn't make the bed..He might throw the comforter on the top and make it look a little better but not actually making it the right way. I make my youngest daughter's bed too. If your husband is just lazy and doesn't want to make the bed then he doesn't have to sleep in it..LOL

I make the bed at my house. Even if he is the last one out of the bed. As far as the kids,if there old enough they should be making there own beds. It only takes a min so pick your battles.

Hell....usually if I feel like it I will do it..but unless there is company coming over or I am on a cleaning binge I usually just fold the cover half way down the bed....why worry about it if youre getting back in it in 12-15 hours. I used to be very anal about it and it was who ever was the last one out of the bed's job

I would have to say the Mom's job, at least that is how it is in my house. I don't think my DH has ever made the bed or vaccumed or dishes.
Some men are lazy butts and guess we both got stuck with the lazy ones.

I feel it's my place to make up the bed because my husband works and I don't mind making the beds in our house.

Yes, my guy is Italian and his mommy does everything for him, so guess what the bed making is up to me, and
and that's before I go to work in the a.m., if I don't have time he even calls me at work. Why didn't i do it, I got home early and want to take a nap, the bed is a mess!
I tell him to make it, and he says noway! Well I'm not taking off work early to make a bed.. Well, just don't be
so l;azy next time or I will call and wake u up earlier!
See could be worse.

My husband and I take turns doing the chores around the house. He gets home first so he does allot of the chores. But on the weekend I do most of the house work. We both also cook but I was the dishes since I know he hates doing them. I'd tell your husband this, "Honey I know you don't see the point in making our bed, but it does make me happy to see it nice & neat, can you please make it up every once in a while..... Love Ya!"
Good Luck!

Make beds? How do you do that? LOL :-) Actually on the days my wife works, she is up and out of th house before I get up. I make my side of the bed, then I straighten up her side, fluff up the pillows and neatly fold down the sheets and covers, so when she gets home from work and she wants a little nap it is ready for her. On her days off, I am up before her so she makes the bed. Yeah, I know I am a prince....

My husband never used to make the bed either. At some point I asked him if he would make it and he did and I praised him something stupid up and down. He made it again. I made a big deal out of it again. He did it again. I praised him again. (You can see the pattern developing). Now we are at the point that I make it sometimes and he makes it sometimes. He finally got it that it makes a difference to me.
