6. Ploice made accountable.
7. Corruption.
8. All laws are from the times of the British Raj, need changing.

Unemployment does not count since even the First World Countries can easily boast of massive unemployment and people living under the poverty line.

People always have the misconception that unemployment counts to become developed country.

Why should we compare the world countries.

We are developed of Developing is not at all the matter.

Take the European countries developed story. They are Capture the small countries and the small country people's hard work only develop the Eu nations. But for us, We work for 400 years to Some other Country. Now last 60 years we are working for ourselves. So, Take these todays economy, India is the emerging power but we are not get the recognition.

For us to develop the rural areas. The we will be the developed nation

I have studied world history in high school and college. This may not make me an expert on world or Indian history. Here are my reasons why India is still a developing nation after independence from Great Britian:
1. The Caste System.Think about that!!!!
2. Hindu religion and no Christianity????
3. The need to improve infastructure (water, gas, electric systems
for examples).
4. Improved and educated workforce does improve the economy.
5. I can name more, but for times sake I better not. Best wishes!

If v had a good leader at 1948 our population could be contained at 45 crores and u can imagine the developement then. With the rise 3 times in population i.e. to 120 crores , still India has shown excellent developement.
v r producing maruti cars in lacs every year though V do not have petrol.U can imagine what will happen after a few years.
This is all bad leadership.

no, this is not the game of the developed. you say india is developed because you only see the developed india, as you live in a city.
india is still developing, because the basic necessities of indian citizen have yet not been completed, and it would take some time to do that. moreover, corruption is making this task even more burdensome. we can only hope for the good and do nothing else.

It is a stupidity to think to be developed... No one can be perfect and everyone should try to be leaset imperfect. Likewise no country is fully developed... They think that they are developed. In one or the other sense they are underdeveloped.........
