It's worth a whole lot. Meteorites run about $10 per gram. For one that's four feet in diameter, you could be looking at several hundred thousands (assuming you can find someone to buy it).
A professor of mine once brought one to class that was about 2kg, and it was maybe 8 inches in diameter, so yours is probably worth a lot of money.

If you're talking about that program in which you can send in $30 or so and get a star named after you: it's pretty much a scam (sorry if the star was named for someone special or something sentimental).

Unless you have the star's coordinates, astronomers (or everyday people) won't be able to find the star. Astronomers will just use catalog numbers for those dim stars (for example: Gliese 876 or HD 100253). Even big bright stars like Sirius and Antares have no official name, and can be conversely called by their Arabic names or catalog numbers. The International Star Registry (the organization responsible for selling star-naming "rights" to people for cash) has even sold the naming rights of the same stars more than once (odd that that they would run out of stars in the sky).

For more details, there's an extensive article about it in this month's issue of the Skeptical Inquirer magazine.

I saw a program about this once a long time ago... I can't tell you exactly what its worth but I would guess it in the thousands. Maybe 6 figures. You'll need more research than you can get here..

ANd Iam not talking about having a star named after you. The program was about a guy in AZ. or NV. and searched the deserts for meteorites.. He had a vault built in his basement to keep them.
