What, exactly, is it that you need to rise above and overcome? Perhaps you should overcome stereotyping. Or, perhaps you should rise above your own racist views.
Go to college. Get an education, and be a success. It won't matter what race you are, if you feel successful and happy with your life. People will only keep you down if you allow them to do so. The way you can "rise up and overcome" is by first realizing that no one but you is holding you down. The next step is to understand that you only continue the cycle of racism or inequality by believing and stating that an entire race is being held back in current day America. Solve the problem by first getting rid of an unnecessary negativity towards the opposite race, and have a goal for yourself to be a better person, even if others do not see you as such.
You are the first step towards overcoming hate.

Stay in school. Don't break the law. And don't have kids until you're married. Then, get a job, and work your way to the top. It may be a little tougher for you, just like it is for some who are handicapped. But if you do what I say here, you ought to pretty much overcome anything in your way.

by drug dealing-taking drugs, robbing and hurting ppl, stealing, and THINK they are all that -NOT it messes it up for the very few that are good. The homey/gangster sh!t got to go. GROW UP azzholes. black ppl give themselves a >BAD RAP< thats theyr'e own fault. black channels,black month what about a white channel oh no we cant have that now there would be chaos and do we have a special month for just whites-NO. I am sick and tired of this world. There are 2 differences of the person with black skin-either you are a stable and a good BLACK man or you are a N!gGA and that is a loser!!! case closed.

By shutting their mouths of the urge to moan and groan and blame their troubles on anyone but themselves; by ceasing to yell "racism" about anything and everything; by taking the advantages and disproportionate opportunities they are given in education, finance, employment and business and using it to educate themselves and to better themselves personally and as a community; by neutering their wandering men who impregnante multiple women and abandon them and their children; and by acting like respectable human beings in public.
