To express a number as a percentage of another number, you divide the first number by the second and times by 100.
So, 52 as a percent of 65 =
52/65= 0.8
0.8 * 100 = 80%

To do this, consider the fraction 52/65. This is 0.8. Now, in order to work this out as a percentage, you have to multiply it by 100. 0.8x100%=80%.

If this is a homework question that you were stuck on, I strongly suggest that you discuss the question and general method with your teacher. I know that it can be frustrating if you have a lot of work to do and don't really understand, but it will be worth resolving these difficulties in the long run. Good luck!
