I'm going to do both, but should I get alligned first or relax muscles first? I want to get the most benefit from each.

as a Certified Massage Practitioner for 27yrs my suggestion is to have your massage first and your chiropractic session within 20 minutes after as this will allow the Doctor to better align your spine and the muscular system will re align to this new memory. if the condition is an acute one going to both once a week for 4wks is standard then having one treatment of each every other week has been my standard suggestion with my clients and this seems to work well i'm currently in association with 10 different chriopractors in my area with this same agreement.

I'd do massage first. The biggest problem with chiropractor is muscle memory. You get popped and the next day, your tight muscles push your bones right back to where they were

Massage first- then chiropractor. It would be easier to identify the real source once the massage is done.

I would definintely go get a massage first because the chiro. could make it worse so just try the massage first and if it doesnt work go to a chiro.
