I believe he should have been allowed to stay here, he even stated he wished to stay here, but children have no rights -- they are owned like chattle !!!!! They are chattle !!!! However, his MOTHER HAD CUSTODY and she DIED BRINGING HER SON TO FREEDOM !!!! The USA & CUBAN governments were wrong and the way they went about it was pure Communistic or Dictatorship-ish !!!!!!!

The US had no right to hold this child. He has a father and just because he is from Cuba we can't decide on our own that the boy would be better off in the US. Bush did the right thing.

If an ex stole your child and took them to another country would you expect the government of that country to let relatives keep your child in that country or return your child to you? Just because you don't like a country is no reason to break the law or do what is wrong.
