seems to be the battle cry of a lot of people on this forum. Yet my observations have led me to believe otherwise. If Mexicans are not the problem, why are so many questions directed towards Mexicans? Why not always use the word illegal when a complaint about em arises? I just hope that when illegal immigration is reduced, we don't turn against those who are here legally or were born here yet have Hispanic roots. Peace sells.... Nobody is buying.

I think most people would agree. I hope that our justifiable anger towards illegal aliens doesn't morph into all-out racism towards anyone of hispanic origin. We really need to solve this problem. Helping Mexico (yes Mexico, since its where over 90% of the illegals come from) is one thing we need to do, but its a long term solution, and will take a long time to see results. In the short term, I feel we need to do what we can to protect our laws, our national integrity, and the American worker. Its naive to think that all these illegals havn't pushed down wages in this country. Its one of the biggest problems we face, and we need to take it seriously.
