I saw the ephisode and thought that the teepee rooms were kinda cute! And the elder woman who owned the place, who said the place was made by her father and the original furniture was still being used. She was proud of it and to me that was sweet.
It upset me when Oprah and Gayle were checking in and it seemed to me, they were being stuck up. Hey listen! The place
is important to that lady, and Oprah and Gayle should know from
the beginning its not a 5 star hotel!
To show it on the program, and then to say, " I cant stay here"
was rude! I really like oprah, but this was totally unacceptable
behavior. If they didn't like the place, they shouldn't have put it on
the program, ( it gave bad publicity!)dont you think?
any others out there see this program?
To me making fun out of someones livelihood is NOT entertaining.
It was totally in bad taste.

I think Oprah has lost her modesty and her compassion for other people who DO NOT have money like her. I totally agree with you, she is snobby and looks down at people, she even put Gayle in check in the studio and was a ***** to be honest with you. Gayle was having a good time and all Oprah when she said that she hasn't pumped gas since God knows when... was that suppose to be funny or something?? making other people feel like crap because she is high and mighty... i like Oprah for the good that she does but i think lately the money and fame has gotten to her head.. the way she speaks and the way she makes fun of poor people that is not entertaining me either.... Shame on her for doing that to the poor old lady she was soo in shock and Oprah ignored her and was laughing and stuff... And who the hell cares about Oprah and Gayle's road trip.. just because she is Oprah???? give me a break....

I agree and was thinking the same thing watching that show. She can chill w/ dusty africans but she can't sleep at a motel that just happens not to be the same size as her Kitchen then whatever. I think she was being very rude and inconsiderate for the lady's treasure that Oprah obviously thought was trash. and what did she really expect! Snotty *****! I liked Oprah too because she always has these nice compassionate shows, but now I can see it's just a front for the t.v. That show let me know how she really feels. Maybe she should have been charged triple for the room, since we all know she can afford it.

Oprah's been rude and snotty that whole trip thingy. gayle seems much nicer, all oprah does is gripe and complain cause nothing's good enough for her.
