fashion sketching books are usually high priced but not very expensive. But try to look for stores that sell used books. You may find good ones. I actually found a 1940's patternmaking book once, sooo cheap.

to learn how to draw? or to be creative and draw your own ideas? you can get how-to design books at Barnes and Nobel...you can get cheap sketch pads at Michael's and Hobby Lobby
