it would be best to take her to hospital as soon as posiable and keep her from moving her head around.Every second that is wasted could couse more damage.Knowing how this happened would give better understanding.I doubt its broken but this sounds very serious and she also may have whiplash

if your daughter has broken her neck, why are you here asking about it, instead of taking her to the hospital and getting xrays?
Sounds more like she has sprained a muscle, and a stop into the clinic would be more appropriate. Start there and the doc will tell you if she needs more immediate treatment.

She may have a stiff neck and a pulled muscle in her shoulder. In any case, she needs to see a doctor. Was she in a car accident or did she fall? For your own peace of mind, please call the doctor and they will most likely be able to squeeze you in.
(I have a stiff neck on my right side today but I'm pretty sure it's from my posture last night while on my computer.)
Good luck and take care!

Get her to the hospital now as if her neck is broken. any further damage to the nerves might cause paralysis from neck down. It is also possible that she has muscles in spasm, but you need an expert to tell.

do not let her move. keep her calm and still. call 911 and let the ambulance come. they will put a brace around her neck and make sure her head stays very still. she will need an xray to see if the bone is broken. you must do this immediately. if its broken, its better to be safe than sorry.

No matter what the problem turns out to be, you must must must take her to the doctor right away. Does she have a primary care doctor or a pediatrician, if appropriate??? Don't waste any time; get her there right away and tell her to avoid moving around too much.

Yeah you need to take her in. If her neck was broken she wouldn't be able to hold her head up and have a hard time controlling her limbs. It is possible.

Her neck may have a fracture. Do not have her move her neck around. Stabilize it immediately and take her to ER, the damage may worsen if you don't react now.
