Freecycle. The sight lists some of the items available, but to get stuff you'll have to sign up for a local yahoo group. Read all the instructions before you post.
Curbside if you live in a large city. Spring time is best.
Very inexpensive ones can sometimes be found at donation stores. Small towns with chruch donation stores seem to be cheeper than big city Salvation Army Stores. Though, they do have big discount sales quite often.
Look for Moms to Moms sales in your area.
Ask around, put a free classified on the internet or go to a local church group.

Don't go cheap on baby product. Walkers can be dangerous if they are outdated and not 100% in working order. I'd look for free clothes, free books, free toys, but splurge ona new walker. You want one that is up-to-date on the latest safety requirements too.

Walkers are no longer recommended. They are dangerous. Too many parents make them babysitters and kids fall down stairs etc.......

Go immediately to www.craigslist.com and click on your area search "free". My son and daughter in law did this and found a bunch of good baby stuff.

Go to freecycle.org & find the closest one to you. Ask on there & see if you can find one. Lot's of people have things like that they no longer need & are willing to give away.
