I have been feeling light headed and a little dizzy now for about 3-4 days. Sometimes I feel slightly nauseous too, but never actually sick. I got back from holiday with my husband on Saturday - don't know if this may have anything to do with it. Friends have suggested ear infection or virus - any ideas - going to the doctor on Monday.

Depending on where you were on your holiday it could be an infection that you picked up over there.

It could also be vertigo or an inner ear infection..

It is very possible something to do with the inner ear. If you have access to a health food or vitamin store, ask for "Ear candles" and use one in each ear. Instructions should come with them or the sales clerk should be able to tell you how to use.
It will not hurt anything. It draws out (painlessly) wax, infection, or whatever else is in the ear. So even if your problem has nothing to do with your ears, this is a good thing to do.

You could be experiencing many things. Go to www.webmd.com and take the symptom checker link, this will provide you with some info.

Consider you medical history--could you be pregnant? Hypoglocemic? Have you started new medication, a change in diet or fitness? Are you experiencing a lot of stress or having an allergic reaction?

Feel better soon!

Did you fly?

Sounds like an ear imbalance issue, if you did.

Try GENTLY! blowing your nose, while pinching it tight.
You may hear some 'popping' sound in your ear(s), which may improve things.

If you're still in difficulty after 10 days, see your doctor

You probably have a trapped nerve in your neck. My mums suffers the same syptoms as you, the best cure is plenty of rest.

Maybe a bout of vertigo. My mother has it and your symptoms are somewhat similiar. She always gets it if she's flown in an airplane. Did you fly during your vacation?

Whatever it is, drink lots of water before you get to the doctor. Can't hurt.
