Yes I do have a six pack. I'm 37 years old and was an athlete most of my life. I stopped working out a year ago and my body didn't like it too much! Went back to the gym 2 months ago and I got my abs back. I do cardio 3 times a week for 20-25 minutes, I like the elliptical machine because it's easier on my knees. When you do cardio, it is important that you stay within your "target heart rate", you can find links on the net on how to calculate it, you should get a heart rate monitor as well. The idea behind it is that if you're below your target heart rate, you don't burn fat and if you're above it, you burn muscle. I do crunches, side crunches and pilates 3 times a week as well. You don't have to do it for hours, just make it burn! And last, but not least, I eat 5 or 6 small meals during the day, no soda, and no bread (or wheat bread if any). Sunday is my day off and I eat whatever I want. Hope it helps.

Ps: If you reach a plateau and it seems like you cannot loose fat at one point, add a fat burner to your diet.

In order for to reach your goal of having a "six=pack," you need to of course exercise. This means doing the "good-ole" crunches! The really hard part is getting your body fat percentage around 8% or below. You can certainly strengthen your abdominal wall muscles and they will grow with increased exercise, but they won't be well defined until you reach the optimum body fat percentage. So exercise regularly and eat a well balanced diet. Good luck...

1st of all sweat is gained back by drinking water so using extra sweats, belts or pants are just useless,as soon as you consume one cup of water, you gain the weight back.NUTRITION you must intake less calories than what you burn.DONT STOP EATING! just eat healthier such as fresh fruits, tuna, special k,vegetables, white rice and baked chicken, also try drinking %2 milk or water. my recommendation drink 3 cups of green tea daily, helps boost your metabolism & is EXTREMELY healthy for you is even proved to help you burn an extra 65 calories a day.WORKOUT plan your workout correctly, mon-weight-tue-cardio-wed.rest-thur-weight-fri-cardio-sat-rest. repeat. when you do cardio it helps strectch & build a better immune system, when you weigh train it turns fat into muscle, muscle burns more calories even when you sleep, remember 3,500 calories make a lb, so watch what you eat!
Body Fat is a layer covering your muscle, so drop a fair amount of (healthy weight) then try your strength training.
