My daughter's each just got hamster's about a month ago, and those butts on those things are huge compared to their body size. My 7 year old said that one side was bigger than the other. Is it normal for hamsters to have such noticibly large butts (nuts)?

harharharharharha.. ROFL yes they do have large nuts. My first hamster was a female and she was 3 years old and died from cancer. My second hammy is a dwarf hamster and actually coming to think of it.. ive never seen his. But yes some do have big butts (nuts)

seem on line for photos of adult males and ladies people of your particular species of hamster (syrian, chinese language, iciness white, campbells, robovorski). i'm suspecting that your hamsters are hitting puberty and you're seeing the form of their testicles (boy factors). those are greater obvious in some hamster species than in others. in the experience that your hamsters seem marketly diverse than the photos you come across, you would be wanting to take them to the vet as there could be some thing incorrect with them.

yes male hamsters have large testes compared to the rest of their body. like everything else, they come in many different shapes and sizes. perfectly normal!

If its a male yes if its a girl there is somthing way wrong girl by the way are way better than boy hamsters

Males do have large testicles if you do not want a hamster to look like that you can have them neutered if your vet will do it or just get a female

Yup. Ive got a male dwarf hamster. Hes got bis sacks too. It doesnt bother me though.LOL Dont worrie about them.

Uh, mostly, yeah. Unless they're the tiny hampsters that you can find. (It might be the males nuts, yeah)
