You had many questions before about astronomy. What about an article on the Nobel Prize in physics. It was about the universe background radiation. The discovery supports the big bang theory. More here:

Well, you could go to your local newspaper and check out the current events.
Check out the homepages for Yahoo and Cnn.com. There is a lot going on the world (The slayings of the Amish girls, Congressman
Foley's resignation, the Space Station, etc.).
You could write about energy conservation. It may sound boring, but you could go to a site that tells you how to make your home more "green" or environmentally friendly.
The latest cars- hybrids are very interesting. How energy efficient are they? Will you get your money's worth if you buy one?
Just a few ideas.
Good luck!

With all the school shootings in the past 3 weeks here in the U.S. it might be a good time to go over what is being done in your school to prevent violence and suggestions you might have on preventing this issue from happening in your school. An alternative slant might be to look at the students that sift through the cracks in your school. Those are the students that are not the brightest and not the worst students - these are some of the students that keep quiet, but might be more likely to act out because they are loners. What is your school doing to help them so they won't act out in negative ways.

First off, never put "an" in front of a word that isn't a vowel."An" comes before a e i o and u.You put "an nonfiction" and it's supposed to be "a nonfiction-keyword a." Anyway, you could write about hispanic/spanish stuff since this is hispanic heritage month. You could write about breast cancer or you can even do an interview of the latest "it" person at school, like a star football player or school president or someone.Write about current events at school.Or do an interview with the lunch lady and ask about the food and stuff.Be creative.
