I sent my girlfriend a song by Riachard Marx "When your Gone"
but I heard something in the lyrics at the beginning that questions me...."Did I just send her a gay song?" lol i hope not, so is he gay?

I just re-listened carefully....the lyric first sounded like "...am I going to mee t guy who has it all?" but it actualyl is "...your not gunna meet a guy who has it all"....i think, regardless, what ever y'all say, Richard Marx is awesome!!!!

I know many gay men who have married a woman. Sometimes the woman knows but doesn't care because the marriage provides them with status, financial security, and most often championship/friendship. This especially true of men who have a public image to maintain.

I used to have a severe crush on him, but he is married and I'm pretty sure not gay. Some of his lyrics I think are great...especially from the 1st and 2nd albums.

NO, he's not. And despite what most of the ignorant folks above me have said, he's a very accomplished musician and brilliant songwriter and singer. I've enjoyed his music since his hit love song in the eighties- "Right Here Waiting For You" off the "Repeat Offender" album.
