I've got to tell you that unless you have an incredibly distinctive look by not being trained you are putting yourself at a distinct disadvantage. Its very very tough and any possible advantage you can give yourself the better, including exposing yourself to the best advice, teaching and contacts. Most people on screen have got there by knowing someone or having a relative in the business. Unless of course you are very lucky....take it from someone who knows you have more chance of winning the lottery!

The UK has a great history of wonderful actors, I think you would want to be as well-trained as possible. If it is important, youwill find a way to pay for school in London. Decide on your priority.

I can;t say I know the answer to that but I think not. If you work hard at it and get an agent then people will take you serisously. I think most auditions won't accept actors applying without agents. I'd hope it's mainly about the agent and your experience.

I had a significant skipping habit in HS.
