Actually, I've wondered what the skew is on Y!A. Is Y!A a reflection of the whole country? I seriously doubt it. Communities online form through affinities, and somehow the Fox crowd has staked a claim to Y!A (I agree with your perception).

Greed, greed, greed. The hunger for money is bringing our two party system to it's knees. Power may corrupt absolutely but over the past few decades money sure seems to have corrupted those in power. Not only has our current administration become a danger to it's own people, governmental corruption has risen to a level not seen in this country since the 1890s. Enron, Worldcom, stealing elections, Delay and his government for hire money machine, and now Foley. The party that claims loudly to be the Morals party sure doesn't seem to practice what it preaches. I doubt very seriously if the Democrats are any better. It seems like becoming a member of our national government has simply become a stepping stone, a temporary "educational" stop on the way to becoming a rich lobbyist.
I think, if our country is ever going to be the "shining light" it could be, our two party system, which is out of date and out of touch will need a major overhaul. I love this country and I hope we find our way out of the darkness we're currently in.

The media bases its reports on polls. How poll questions are worded, what segment of the populations is polled and how the results are interpreted is widely variable. It is very possible to get very different responses from the same person simply by changing the wording of the questions.

The majority of questions and answers posted here are stupid. Hence, the majority of posters are stupid repubs. Heck, one repub just said that Foley's email scandal came out *after* he went into rehab. If you're that un-educated, why bother saying anything?

Its because the republicans have paid propagandists to actually sit all day and post right wing propaganda on every outlet they can find. Especially yahoo's answers.

There are many groups that want Democrats back in power, so they will have more power, themselves.
The News Media has had an agenda to elect left-wing radicals since the 60's.

I'm pretty much fed up with both parties. They are so busy finger pointing. That isn't what I'm paying them for.
