I think that they should be able to carry mase or something, but then they would have to worry about the kids taking it from them.
But they need to start protecting themselves and their students.

I dont know that is a hard, but good question!!

a stun gun or something like mace/pepper spray that was locked in their desk away from students....maybe that is something. They would need to be properly trained on how to act in a situation like that.
Guns, even something small handheld would be a bad idea. If a student found out about it and was depressed or crazy or something, they may try to break into get the gun and then what would happen? A whole other situation.
Its a tough situation all around with these shootings like this. Its scary to see it happen in these schools and in these small towns.

How about a police sub-station like they have at some malls and train stations? It would allow the police to do some positive PR with kids at a young age. Obviously some special training would be required.

HOMESCHOOLING.It's harder to go through all this B.S. at you house.Plus I wouldn't arm the teachers any way there just as crazy as anybody else.Remember that serial rapist teacher.

You mean our kids are being taught by a bunch of people with no arms? By God, they should at least be able to get prosthetic devices to help them. Otherwise they wouldn't be able to grade papers!

Oh... You meant weapons...
