I have never used them but they are legit. You will have to pay a decent amount for anything popular though. You could also try ebay for tickets.

A concert definately! Not that I don't enjoy some sports, and tickets to something like the Rose Bowl or the Final 4 basketball games wouldn't be awesome ( I'm not much into pro sports, but college, oh hello yeah!) But some of my best memories are of going to great concerts.

I have bought and sold on stubhub. The seller lists the tickets at the price he wants. The seller has the option of automatic price reductions as game day approaches or a fixed price. The tickets get kicked off two days before the game. If someone buys they have to give stubhub their credit card. Stubhub emails a fedex mailing label to the seller. The seller has two or three days to get the tickets to the buyer. If not, the cost of the shipment and the buyer's charge are deducted from the seller's credit card (on file with stubhub). In fact, I have always gotten my tickets within the two days. If the tickets are fake, the seller's account would be charged for the amount the buyer paid so there is no motivation to sell forgeries. try their website. www.stubhub.com

I've used Stub Hub to get NY Yankees tickets a couple of times. I've experienced no problems at all with it. Go to Stubhub.Com and pick the venue and it tells you what seating is available and you pay by secured credit card transaction.

They are legit, but since they are licenced ticket brokers, the ticket prices are much higher than face value.
