If he is beating you, YOU CANNOT go back to him. Where in your marriage vows did it say that he could beat you. What happend to "love,Honor, Cherish" Now If he has broken those vows, I hate to tell you honey you are already divorced. Just make it is legal so he will be forced to pay child support or alimony to take care of you. God doesn't want you to be hurt by your husband, and Paul said that " you may put away an Unrighteous Husband" not that legalism has any bearing on the New Covenant, anyway. Punish him severely for his misdeeds.

Yeah.....so is God going to step in when hubby takes a swing at you? Nope. Of course he'll set aside a place on judgement day for you after hubby kills you. Isn't that nice?

Forget the church and that nonsense. Anybody with any brains will tell you to get the hell out now while you're still in one piece.

Divorce him. Hey...c'mere..let me tell you a secret...regardless of what you may think...God doesn't consider it a mortal sin if you have to divorce to save your own life. He'd rather see you alive than dead.

If any priest even hints that despite your abusive situation divorce would be wrong than he should hang. Especially as an accessory to murder if you stay and you're killed.

Sorry hun ... but, does "Gods law" state that you have to stay in a marriage, until your husband permanently disables or kills you? Divorce him ... find someone that will treat you with the respect you deserve.

If he was abusive stay away. God doesn't like his children abused. Live alone you will be happier eventually.
