I'm confused. I've just got one from my local HMV store. But the problem is, I don't know if its registered!! According to my reciept I have points on my card. Does this mean my card is registered? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You don't have to register to use the card, and you will gain points and be able to use them without registering.

If you want to use the card when you buy thingd from the HMV website you have to register it first.

If you do register the card you get lots of free points, so it is worht doing even if you aren't going to use it on the internet!

Basically if you haven't been to the website to register your card, then it is not registered!

Basically, you've just purchased a Games related item from the store. So you've got points for that item & therefore the points have been transferred onto a Games card for you. Every £10 you spend equals to 100 points. As soon as you get 1000 points you get £5 off your next games related purchase instore.

If you register the games card online, they give you 500 bonus points. They help go towards your points that you already have on your card. The whole point of registering the card is that you will get e-mail notifications of when new games related items will be released & you get priority over everyone else when it comes to the latest releases of stuff. ALSO you get priority in reserving your copy of the new PS3 or the nintendo WII over everyone else.

Believe me, as I work for hmv.

hope that helps
