North Korea must choose either to have a future or to have nuclear weapons "but it cannot have them both", US negotiator Christopher Hill said.

I absolutely and totally agree with him.

Instead of chasing non-existent terrorists.. Bush should have sorted out this very dangerous nation.
Another Derogation of his duties as leader of the free world..

You are correct about your assessment of our president.
It was a no-brainer to invade Iraq...yet, it has cost us (and will continue to do so) dearly.

North Korea is a country run by a piss-ant dictator who uses nuclear weapons to compensate for his little willy.
Even China agrees that Kim Jong Il is really "ill".
I believe that at this point in time, it is best to contain him rather than invade his country.
America does not have the resources to fight on a new front.

When confronted in 1994 by incontrovertible evidence North Korea was building nuclear weapons and delivery systems, Clinton chose to bribe rather confront Pyongyang. He dragooned South Korea and Japan into joining Washington to offer North Korea an amazing US$4.6 billion in oil, food and light-water nuclear reactors in exchange for its promise to halt building nuclear weapons and producing plutonium.

Non existent terrorist? Are you kidding me with that statement? N.Korea is under the protection of China and Russia. Both of those countries are losing their patience with N.Korea and they will handle it. Don't you think that is the prudent way to go about it? Look at this logically, If Mexico became a nut case country like N. Korea, who has the most at stake. The neighbors. You are just looking for reasons to hate Bush. We had this same situation during Clinton's regime, and look where that got us. To where we are today.

North Korea has spent so much money on weps over the years most of their people starve daily. In bad times they eat bark from trees. All the leaders there care about is themselves.

Why do people care so much about N Korea? The more we pay attention to him, the braver he gets. All he wants is money and assistance from the US, so he does it with threats.
I say let him drain all of his countries money and resources on his nuclear program.

So are u saying that the U.S. should attack North Korea? Good idea, but the US military is overburdened by the Iraqi War.
And let's not forget another threat to the world, Iran.

Not really. They've hardly got enough money to feed their own kids let alone build a nuclear bomb.
