A day out of town that is well-planned (shows thoughtfulness). The guy makes all the arrangement, tells you some of the activities he planned (so you can plan what to wear and what to bring) but not all the details so there is an element of surprise. Example, Guy to Girl: "You may want to bring a light coat, we are going to the lake" but doesnt tell her that they will be riding a boat, maybe even dinner onboard.
It will be a day where the guy pays attention to the lady, making sure he doesnt bring her anywhere awkward. He picks a restaurant that she will like (if she's a vegetarian - don't bring her to a steakhouse! If she has allergies, check with the manager which items on the menu would be off limits), he orders her favourite drink, or wine or even coffee. And he doesnt split the check!!!
The guy carries on with fun, intelligent, sensible conversation. He pays attention to the girl's comfort. He makes plans with her for the next weekend. He thinks of a special romantic gesture to cap a perfect day (a lovely present? nothing extravagant. something thoughtful.)
And if it's really, really perfect.... well I would pressume you two would be having breakfast in bed...

The answer to this question depends a lot of how well you know the person and on the status of your relationship. For someone you are just getting to know or would like to know, I suggest that the perfect date is an activity-oriented date of mutual interest. For someone that you have gone out with a few times and would like to get to know better, I would suggest a talking-oriented date like a picnic. For someone you are already committed to or married to, I would suggest an intimacy-oriented date such as sharing a bubble bath. But when all is said and done, no matter where you go on a date, for most women, I think the most important aspect is that they feel a sense of being valued as who they are and that the man can express his appreciation of the time spent together.

I'm a real simple girl, but if you dint have kids my idea of the perfect date would be something fun, like roller skating or miniature golf, something were you can get close to her and show her how to do these thing, then fallow it up with ice cream or dinner at a nice but not to nice restaurant. and before she walks to her door dance with her under the moon light, with the car radio on playing slow music. its some thing a girl will never forget.

since I don't date, and my heart belongs to one guy, I'm going to have to say, where ever he is is where I want to be. If he wanted to spend the weekend in a tent and fishing, so long as he was there, that would be the perfect date, if he wanted to go to the opera (I'm 100% redneck) I'd choke that down too. Of course once the *date* is over, everything else is my call, hee hee!

Nothing in this world is perfect, including dates. Personally? I like picnic dates, wine, cheese & crackers,
a guy I can talk easily to and let him know "i'm" listening.
I don't like to date a guy when all he wants to talk about is my pretty face or nice body. "That" tells me a lot about
"his" mentality. A compliment is nice to either one of us, I just think there's other more intelligent topics. But then, maybe it's just "my" preference. Besides, sometimes it's more of a "turn on" to go around the personal subjects, than to jump directly to it, you know?

in spite of the shown fact that i does no longer evaluate myself a woman of s&d can no longer help yet make it easier to out Steve, thats what friends are for! a suited date could encompass being picked up taken to dinner and a superb walk on the pier if theirs no pier then in a park or carnival, the place we'd make out on the ferris wheel. good morning Steve
