Still with the Lions, having a hard time picking up Mike Martz's offense. He has been inactive every game so far this season.

After Mike Williams signed with an agent befor the 2004 draft, his college eligibility was forfeited. he and Mo Clarett were banned from the draft that year by the supreme court. Williams was selected in the first round of the 2005 nfl draft by the Detroit Lions. He is currently on their roster.

unfortunately for USC, he decided to test the NFL draft waters too early and got burned for a year. eventually, he got picked up by the detriot lions and USC replaced him with dwayne jarrett.

so far, williams has done absolutely nothing in his pro career. in fact, he showed up out of shape for this year's training camp and has been pushed down to #4 on their depth chart.

You stated it, he USED to capture each little thing thrown to him. His fingers were horribly inconsistent contained in the NFL upon getting a second and a third probability with the Raiders and the Titans.

I don't know if "plays" is the right word...

But he's on the Lion's roster. He's like the 3 or 4th WR.
