There are several reasons why an a/c won't work.
Check the fuses and relays, if the fan doesn't work or the compressor doesn't run.
If the fan runs, but compressor doesn't, check the refrigerant charge.
Least likely, but possible, the operating switch may be bad.

check if it is charged...if not take it to an a/c repair person and they can recharge it. or if you feel smart, go to walmart and look for a recharge kit in the auto section. that will have a dvd with it to tell you how to do it. good luck
