I hear ya, sister. Think I will invest in one of the Dyson ones. For something that should suck that doesn't, is a bad thing when your talking about a vacuum cleaner. Like Tim Allen says, " I made the vacuum so strong it sucks the butt out of a cat". LOL

I hate the Kirby my fiance brought here - it sucks - but it weighs a freaking ton and I've stubbed my toe so hard on the metal head of it I almost passed out. I'll stick with my $99.00 Hoover - it has a handy hose attachment for corners and baseboards and it's bagless!!

my vacuum really sucks... for example many many pairs of pantyhose have found their way into my vacuum cleaner's stomach.

I can pick up my bowling ball with mine and carry it across the room!!:D
That is if I can get it to balance on the hose just right.
