THEORY:
The only reason she won is because she was the only black girl so all the black people voted for her.

lets say the school has 100 studenst.

now, on the school site, there is a pie chart that shows 36% black population and 53% white, 3 multi, 2 asian, and 6 hispanic.

the 36 black student votes must be split between 4 black candidates, and the 53 white student votes all go to the white candidate.

black1:9
black2:9
black3:9
black4:9
white1:53

and assuming multiracial and hispanics like black people better; 9 more votes to the black candidates.

and also assuming that the 2 asians like white people, 2 to the white candidate.

black1:12
black2:11
black3:11
black4:11
white1:55

even if some students voted on a different race, it'd take a SHITLOAD of students doing that to go against the theory. which could happen, maybe later.

I'm trying to disprove this stupid theory of my friends...

Disproving your friend's theory should be easy. It assumes that everyone votes based on race. The only way that could be true is in a really dysfunctional situation.

When you look at black politicians & public figures like Condi Rice, Colin Powell, & Sen. Barak Obama (IL), their popularity obviously goes beyond race. It's true that race is a deciding factor for some people, but especially in the real world, I think it's safe to say that people who vote by race are the exception, not the rule.

What kind of backward high school u guys r going to? why should blacks vote for blacks? why should whites vote for whites? u mean to say no blacks have white friends or vice versa at ur school? ur way off with ur assumption. the best candidate should win not white or black.

No, no, oh no! Please consider attendance, income level, drug use who is doing who, etc. Too simplistic, and assumes races are in lockstep on issues. Not so, Bro!!
