only if thats where u wanna play, in my day the best of the worst played in goal, keep playing out as much as u can so u can improve, dont just settle for someone elses opinion of u!

Congrats! i'm a goalie myself and I just joined a indoor soccer team as a goalkepper or should I say torpedo stopper hehe! Anyway do like I do search for videos of golies and goalkepper training so you can watch and train yourself and other are doing their thing! Keep up dude! Don't forget to do a little search on Rogerio Ceni a Sao Paulo F.C.'s golie awesome dude! Seach it on yahoo!

Yes it is. The position of goalkeeper comes with great responsibilty.It is more than just stopping the ball when it comes your way.You have to make sure that your defenders are in their positions and that they keep a straight solid line.You are only as strong as your weakest defender.There is no way that you will stop every ball from crossing your line, but good communication with your defenders will help to prevent strikers from getting the better of you.
