Look at things around you. All things you can show live to in speech class are potential props and therefore candidate visual aid informative speech topics! Think broad.
In many years I've seen lots of creative informative speeches about objects: someone who shows and explains a favorite painting, book, camera, coins collection, pet, jewelry, fashion look, sporting equipment, toys etc, etc.
Use your imagination, elaborate further on these ideas.
Some questions to develop original informative speech topics with visual aids:
1. Why you use it or has it been used for?
2. What's the story behind it?
3. When did you buy it? Why?
4. Who used it?
5. Can you demonstrate it step by step?
6. Can you teach how to do or to make it during or after your speech?
7. Why do you want to talk about it?
8. Why do your speech class mates have to hear your story?
9. How does it work?

Tell about coming to Yahoo Answers for your "original" idea for a speech. It would be news that you can't tell somebody something that you know about from your own knowledge, discovery or experience. Maybe you could inform the class on how you discovered it was not smart to stick a knife into a toaster to get the bread that was stuck, while the toaster was still plugged in. Talk about what you know and how you know it.
