What must Jesus think about the conditions of the world today? I see people killing each other, ripping each other off, cheating, lying, double crossing each other, using symantics to circumvent contracts and agreements to take what isnt theirs, countries destroying one another, the rich wanting more and more, taking what little the poor have left, not caring about one another. What was Jesus's comment? Love one another, as you love yourself, and love your God above all else. Where is the humanity spoken by Jesus? Where is the compassion? Where is the guilt of those who have done this world wrong, the remorse for the children killed in needless wars as countries vie to rule the world, with threats of nuclear wars, of biological weapons, and mass murder? How much pain has He had to endure because of us? Time is NOT linear, it does not run in a straight line, but circles upon itself, over and over. Jesus did not die on the cross, but is still dying on the cross, on a daily basis.

Jesus, as read in the bible is still alive. He rose from the grave, and He sees everything that We do. Knows of the wars upon wars, the needless deaths that happen. No, I know for a fact that Jesus is not happy about it. In a sense though His hands are tied. Only God knows when Jesus is comming back. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit feel everything we go through, even down to the happiness some feel after they have murdered. He feels the pain and anguish babies go through when aborted. He feels the anguish of women all over the world being raped, and the feeling of violation. He feels and understands the mistrust in the world today.
It's scary to say, but He even sees George Bush. *sighs*. I know that Jesus loves us all unconditionally. Thats a lesson I am still learning. He wants us all to make it to heaven, and Im sure God, the one that created the heavens and the earth, as well as the one that created Doctors, Polititions, both Democratic and Republican, Gave the people knowledge to be able to make the cars we drive, and the cell phones that are stuck to Our ears. God even created the man that created the first computer. Which is sad to say is God to most, now a days.
Feeling all this, I know Jesus must weep. One of the smallest scriptures in the bible says, " Jesus wept.". That say alot. Think about it. Many many years a go, this was a man that walked this very earth. He brought Many to the love of God. Showed them what the love of God was all about, These same people that he showed, Crusified him.
Crusified, thats a huge word. What does it mean though???. Lets check it out:
cru·ci·fy (krs-f) KEY
TRANSITIVE VERB:
cru·ci·fied , cru·ci·fy·ing , cru·ci·fies
To put (a person) to death by nailing or binding to a cross.
To mortify or subdue (the flesh).
To treat cruelly; torment: crucified the awkward child with teasing.
To criticize harshly; pillory: The media crucified the politician for breaking a campaign pledge.
Lets take this definition meaning by meaning. The first speaks of nailing to a cross. Nailing to a cross. Ok, lets be extremely blunt about this. This means back in the old days they had spikes, Huge huge spikes that they used heavy hammers to drill into the hands and feet of someone. Imagine with Me. You get beaten. Whipped mercilessly. Your back has open wounds. Long red bleeding open wounds from your shoulders down to your butt. Even your legs, have blood running down them from the stripes you have taken. Gashes, that are open and sore. How many of you complain because you scratch yourself on the corner of a desk or cabnet?. It opens the skin and its sore. Well imagine having that happen over and over and over for 39x's. Imagine it. Imagine the whole time of being beaten, your being taunted and humiliated. Would you be able to stay quiet as Jesus did. He took it...why because He loves us. He knew thats what he was put on this earth to do. On top of the beating, you have to carry, a at least 200lb cross, right on top of the bleeding open stripes youve just taken. Oh and btw, they gave him 39, because 40 would have killed him. They wanted to torture him more. He had to carry this heavy 200lb cross up a hill. Carry his own death. Can you imagine what that would be like, to have to carry your own death. To walk to where you knew you were going to take your last breath?
They then laid the cross down, making Jesus lay down on top of it, His own weight pressing into the rough wood as they first tied his arms to the cross, to keep them in place while they drove spikes deep into his wrists. His blood flowing like a sive. His body already weak. His mind wondering with the extent of injury he had to take in...yet, once they put him up, He still had the strength to beg God to forgive the very same people that did this to him, for what they had done, because they didnt know. Jesus pleaded for Us. For US...
When one is put on a cross theres a board they put just under your feet. The longer you stay on the cross the more you can raise yourself up by your toes, to help your breathing. They Normally. When crucifing someone break their knees, so they can not push themselvs up, to try to breath.
As they saw him begin to pass over...His life fading from him, they shoved a spear into his side. Forcing any water and air out of his lungs. Forcing him to gasp for air. Try to do one of the basic things to stay alive.....breathe. But he couldnt. Not with the way they had nailed him up.
His last words...."It is Finished" With that...Jesus head bobbed forward, and he was gone. A human life....gone. because of rumors. lies ..and the like being said about him. Things that were so far from the truth...he died for.
People all around the world are still crucifing other people. Jesus knows this feeling...He went through it. He felt it. He knows it from personal experience. If Jesus would come back today, and become part of Our society...walk the earth...*shakes head, and shutters* He would have to have some kind of major protection. The world as We know it would try to kill him all over again. God said no. Jesus wont have to do that again, go through death as once was. I can be thankful of that. Because when Jesus comes back..He's going to take Me out of this world of crucifiers. I wont have to be taunted and teased, harrassed, or descriminated againste. Ill Go HOME. And in the famous last words of Jesus, It will be Finished.
God be with all of you, including Me. We all Need it.

I guess he would not be too disappointed if he saw the world today. It´s much better than when he lived, for example he wasn´t allowed to freely practice his religion, nowaday at least in the USA and Europe and Australia and in most civilised countries everybody is allowed to do that.
Moreover there are fewer wars fought today and people think differently about wars, you can be sure that there was no Geneva Covention or any good treatment of prisoners of war at his time, The Roman Empire fought wars all the time and then treated the prisoners of war badly or enslaved them.
You must notice that I guess he would be quite happy that there has been no huge war since about 60 years and that people are travelling the whole world and making friends in every country and are able to communicate with them via internet or telephone...
He would be astonished that everybody can decide who rules their country in the Western countries.
After all I guess that he would be very happy that people of all religions and races respect and often love each other.
Except for a few depressed terrorists and racists of course.
I think that he would think that quite a lot has changed for the better ( especially during the last 150 years and the recent 50 years) and would probably love it to live now.

He is not surprized at all. He foretold the condition of the last days and told his apostles what to look for when he was asked that question. He speaks of wars and reports of war. lawlessness, false prophets-who will try to mislead us, there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another, Gods people will be persecuted and killed and hated all over the world and many will be stumbled and will betray one another. This is a prophecy that was prophesied by Jusus and nothing can change it. The original issue was Satan's claim that humans would be better off under their own rule with Satan as their god. God has given Satan enough time to prove his point and the results have bee what you see today. Even though Satan has succeded in misleading many there are still a few that have used their free will to serve God in true worship. We are the ones that have proved Satan a liar, we have made the heart of our God, Jehovah, rejoice and have made a reply to Satan proving him a liar. Remember one thing, all the wrong in this world is the result of Satan and his demons, not God's. There are angels watching and if God simply destroyed all wickedness then the issue would not be resolved, time must be given in order to resolve this issue once and for all, then Satan and all his demons and followers will be removed for ever. Then we will all live the life that was offered to Adam and Eve-if we earn it through our savior, Jusus Christ......KECK

he has watched it all happen. he knew already what it would be .
Why do you think he dreaded the cross so much!?
he KNEW all of the pain and suffering he and we would endure, but he still bears the sins of all of us.from the first sin to all of the sins of all of the people tomorrow.
he was terrified of what would come on the cross to have the father turn his back on him, he suffered what we would have if he had not been sacrificed in our place. God would turn away from us , that is something i cannot even imagine how it would be!
and he knew that on his return at the end he will judge all of us and have to separate his from Satan's. he knew what it was to be human, to be tempted, and hated , and hungry, and cold.
All we have to do is believe in him! and accept him for who he is.
Life is not about what we have on Earth, but what we have in Heaven!
Man ! I could wtite a whole book but it has already been done, it is the Bible.
read it and you will understand in time , I still have a long way to go myself. I just want to help others along the way.
God Bless

He would be very disapointed and sad that people act that way towards others. After all, the least we can do is do treat people the way you want to be treated. I guess it is too hard for some people because they don't have an heart. Someday when they die they are going to be judged really harshly. If they believed in God they wouldn't con people and treat them like dirt.

I'd say he's probably still pretty big in the love and forgiveness departments. But, he might be saying, "Dang, when the time comes there's going to be a lot more chaff than I thought there would be. Don't they understand they're asking me to forgive them as they forgive others?".
