I am a married 38 M getting ready for my first surgery and scared and very depressed. All around me is failing and havent been able to really work. After this surgery (back) I am going to be off for months, my wife is disabled. Not sure what to do, but just reaching out there cause I am very very depressed and not sure what to do. I love my wife but we have had some real rocky roads and only been married less then a year. I did wrong she did wrong, but she got her family involved and now its like they come first for everything and i feel alone. there was no cheating just lies and mental abuse on both sides. We have said sorry and not doing that anymore, but there is no sex. Like I said I love her more then anything, but I feel alone right now and wish i wasn't here. Feel like really giving up.

Don't give up.....what seems like the end of the world today will pass. Talk to your wife, tell her how you feel without accusing her.
Really let her know how you feel, surround yourself with good friends and try not to over analyse or overthink things too much. From my experience thinking about something too much is just going to depress you more. I wish you luck, you're in my prayers
p.s If there is no light at the end of the tunnel get off your a** and turn it on yourself.

never ever give up! There are things I thought I wouldn't get through, but my life is a lot better now! Talk to her. Ask her how she feels about your relationship. Ask yourself how do you truly feel about your wife? If you or your wife don't feel 100% into the relationship maybe it is time to consider a break or seperation. Good luck and hang in there!!!
