Full Moon is actually at 03:13 Universal Time on the 7th. That's 11:13 pm EDT on the 6th.

Full Moon happens at the same exact time all around the world, and at different times in different months. It can happen at noon, at midnight, or anywhere in between.

what makes you think it's midnight at all? It could be 4:30 in the afternoon
