Because the two don't play nice together. Norton has it's own firewall. Go ahead and do what Norton ask you to do. I've took down my windows fire wall, and I haven't gotten any virus's.

In some circumstances, it is est to have both, but Norton doesn't work well with other products. In fact, Norton seems to want to be your everything (I always recommend against Norton).

In any case, Norton conflicts with Windows firewall and Windows firewall is pretty much useless. Turn it off since you have Norton.

By no means should you ever run Windows firewall alone.. It is useless.

They can conflict each other as they are supposed to do the same thing. But the Norton one is better than the Windows one.

If it is not a Norton firewall, Norton will ask to shut it down. Just ignore the messages.

you could not run both the anti-viruses parallely. Beacuse Norton takes over the homestead windows firewall and turns it OFF. Uninstall it and then homestead windows Firewall will be grew to develop into ON. i assistance you try this. because Norton isn't so good and probably slowing down your computer. homestead windows Firewall will be extra perfect.

if its asking you to use the norton firewall.. do, it's much better..!
if you use both they can clash, and cause trouble... not even sure if you can have both on at the same time
