I'm not a HS senior, but here's my answer anyway:

I'm guessing the teacher wants you to write it using he and his....that's about all that's left when you eliminate I and my!

So pretend you're somebody else looking at you....what would you say about the person you see?

When you are writing, unless you are writing a personal essay, there's really no use for "I" "My" "You" or any of those words. She's probably trying to cut down on you saying "I think" or "In my opinion" because obviously you thought it or you wouldn't have written it down, thus there is no need for saying "I think". It would be difficult without knowing what kind of essay you are writing, but you need to keep an academic distance from your subject and not put yourself into your paper, unless they are personal.

use third person plural--we or ours

quite common in older novels.

I agree with horomnizon...or you could use you name (Mike this and Mike that)!
