sure,I do and I think whatever helps you reach orgasm and does not make him feel as though he's failed on some level should be perfectly fine if you both agree.
I have a favorite vibe and there are times when he is just not "up" to playing so he will get out the sybian and help me enjoy myself.

in my relationship we bring in lots of different toys. we both extremly enjoy anal (i as the taker and him the giver) so we use toys like eggs/bullets, jelly vibes, dildo's, plugs just about everything out there for different holes. you have to figure out what works for you and your partner. it can get spendy on toys you both dont use but she can use them or yourself when your partner isnt there when the feeling strikes. hope this helps.
