Master Yoda is the most powerful Jedi ever, although his species is unknown, he has powers that can rival (and beat) the Emperor (although this did not happen in Episode III, due to him falling from one of the Galactic Senate discs and having to flee into exhile on the Dagobah System.) he has exceptional lightsaber skill and is 900 years old when he passes away. He is the head of the Jedi Council and has good relations with the Wookies on Kashyyk. His home planet is also unknown. there are only two people in the world that know what Yoda's species is, that being George lucas and the artist that created him (I forget the artists name). And both these peope are being tight lipped about his species, as they want to keep the public guessing, Goerge Lucas has said that even if someone eventually guesses the name right about what species Yoda really is, he will not say, as he promised he would take this secret to his grave. The artist that created him has passed away, so we are unable to find out the answr to the question that has plauged Star Wars fans since 1981. I however, posed a similar question, although this centered around his lightsaber skills, saying "Who would win in a lightsaber fight, Yoda or Anikin Skywalker?"
