It often takes more than 1 round at 50mgs to ovulate. I wouldn't do it. You risk ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, landing yourself in the hospital and having to tell your ob what you did and he will most likely drop you as a patient. Don't do it!

I don't understand how you have any left. My OB has me take it on days 3-7, so my prescription is only for 5 pills. I would not go upping the dosage on your own. Just because you didn't ovulate on 50mg. the 1st month, doesn't mean you won't ovulate the 2nd month on 50mg. Clomid can cause hyper-stimulation in your ovaries, so you have to be monitored by your Dr. while you are on it. Please don't take matters in your own hands! Let your Dr. decide when your dosage should be increased. Also, I take hcg injections in addition to Clomid to help me ovulate. If you are still having problems ovulating on the Clomid, suggest having the injections to your Dr.

No, ask your doctor to give you a shot of norval/hcg when your follicles are big enough to help you ovulate.

I don't ovulate on my own (even with Clomid & other fertility meds I have taken) & for me to ovulate I have to get a shot of hcg/norval & that forces me to ovulate within 36 hours. It has worked both times I have tried it (both times resulting in a miscarriage due to my thyroid) & I will find out tomorrow if it worked this time or not.

Don't do you know why she does not want to add the does
it is because of the long term side effect
read more info on Clomid before you do anything
that you might be regret for

No way. doctors give you certain MGS for a reason. And it's not just about ovulation. I would stick with what he has given you

I don't know about that!! I would be EXTREMELY carefull!! CLOMID is NOT drug that can be messed around with, it can effect your vision, your ovaries and more! I would ask your doctor but I PERSONALLY WOULD NOT RECCOMEND IT. Good luck!!
