So what if I'm a flamboyant male who has pink hair and and earring, that doesn't make me gay, I'm tired of people saying I am when I'm not. I have gay friends yes, but am I gay? No.

Usually flamboyant males are gay. Its easiest to assume that since you're probably .0001% of the population who appears gay and isn't. I'm sure you like the attention, but if you don't like playing the part, don't fit the part. Its a tough give and take to suit your style.

I think it's because of the PINK hair and the earring. Not many people wear earrings these days. And maybe it's because you have gay friends. Maybe it's the way you walk and talk or just apper to them.

Being flamboyant and male would tend to make others think you are gay because that seems to be the image you're projecting.

u need to accept that those qualities make people assume that u are gay

im pretty sure u are aware that having pink hair, earrings, and etc will make people think that u are gay.. then why are u doing it??

u need to adapt to our culture..
for example, when women were chubby, with extra baggage, they USED to be classified as beautiful.. now thatz not the case..
now, men is classified as masculine.. so u should just adapt to the culture..

maybe there will be a time when men is "cool" to be gay.. just wait till then

Well, I understand that the flaming hair and the earring are a form of expression, but they are also sometimes signs of homosexuality... (not stereotyping, guys!) but if you want to keep the 'do and the bling, then you're going to have to accept that people are going to think you're gay.

sister bear??? dude that just has to go!!
But back to the question it is just a stereo type. You project a certain image and others just naturally assume the worse. (not that being gay is the worse). if its such a problem to you maybe you should try acting alittle more masculine. But personally i would say don't change who you are to suit anybody, anything you do do it for yourself!

Can we add to that list the fact that you have the kind of personality that chooses 'Sister Bear' as a screen name?

Look, there are lots of straight men who put out a kind of gay vibe. It happens. Basically you have two options: projecting a more stereotypically masculine image, or learning to ignore it. I suggest learning to ignore it. It's better for your self-image overall.
