I haven't yet, but will do.
Depends how much vinyl you've got.
You could always charge your mates to convert their vinyl and recoup the cost that way.
Or sell it when you're done.

Due to the high error rate of most USB devices...and probably the cheap nasty ADC (analogue to digital converters) used to cut cost in such a system....you are better off hooking up a normal deck to your soundcard and doing it that way. It will also sound a bit better...although unless you have a decent soundcard the benefits will be small..most onboard soundacrds aren't great.

My advice is to get a normal deck, buy something like an M-Audio 26/96 soundcard (it coems with software) and save yourself the money and poor sound of a USB deck !

just plug your audio leads into the line in port and use lp ripper instead of buying a new usb turntable ,it works just as well ,the prog also allows for normalisation of music (auto volume adjustment )it also removes any pops and clicks from a dusty disc..any old turntable will do as you clean up the recording as you go

SURELY IT WOULD BE CHEAPER AND JUST AS GOOD SOUND QUALITY TO CONNECT A STANDARD TURNTABLE TO YOUR PC USING A PHONO LEAD TO YOUR SOUNDCARD AND USING SOUND RECORDER. JUST CONVERT FROM WAV TO MP3 THEN, SIMPLE!
