I never watched it but it seems to be all the rage. What's with all these technological devices and stuff? Just curious, maybe I should get the season 1 & 2 on dvd.

well it looks very confusing at first but after you start watching it, it gets better!! yeah it started as a plane crash and they thought they were on the island alone but by the end of the first season the realize that they are NOT alone on the island and the "others" as they call them have been there for quiet a few years now!! during season two the opened the "hatch" and there was a man down there who had food water and other necessities. they had some communication with the "others" but it always ends badly. it really is a good show but you have to use your imagination and keep asking your self questions about the show you really should watch the first 2 seasons!!!

Lost is a show about plane crash victims on an unusual island that is not deserted, and has relics left over from past (or ongoing) experiments by a shadowy organization.
Seasons 1 & 2 would help tremendously if you're hoping to get into it.

Definately rent the first two seasons! The show is unique and deserves all the award it has earned! I normally dont get addicted with shows like this but once i saw the first episode i watched 5 dvds in 2 days, thats 25 episodes!! And i thought i'd never see myself addicted to television!

The plane crash was just the beginning. The island is not all that it seems to be and much more also.
The strangers turn out to be not strangers but have touched each others lives in the past, sometimes without even knowing it.
If you have not watched it, I would recommend getting the 1st and 2nd season. you will be hooked!

It is.You should really watch the first two seasons on dvd to understand it.Its not really a deserted island and would take soo too long to explain.Watch the first two.People who dont like the show generally cant follow it because they cant understand it.

It is about that, but there is mystery that surrounds the island that is just starting to reveal itself (supposedly). Rent season 1 & 2! The show rocks but there are WAY to many lags between new episodes.

Thats how it all started, but then there were monsters on the island, and people in caves, and all sorts of weird stuff. If you wanna catch up on, rent the season 1 &2 (or buy them).
