If you have the patience hunny put it to the test, If you love him deal with it as best as you can, sometimes things happen that are out of our control, did he deserve to get locked up? Did he know the consequences of the actions he took before he got there? This is added stress for you, loving someone you can't touch or show affection to! I feel bad, but it is all up to you and the way you go about it, if he is in there for a long time, then I suggest you find a way to keep yourself occupied, if he isn't there long then just be ready to have a heart to heart with him!

Well I dated a guy who was already in prison. But I had to be careful cuz prisoners tend to run game on civilians. But, if you all were dating and then he went to prison. All I can say is seek the Lord on what you should do and continue to be in his corner thru this trying time

I used to date a guy that ended up in prison. I moved on! Obviously he has some growing up to do if he's where he's at. He's just adding stress to your life, and I'm sure you already have some if not plenty of that the way it is. Let him go. Tell him to check back when he's done screwing up and ready to start a real life.

my bf is not in prison but he is in long term hospital care in a different country he cant come out and I cant get to see him so it might as well be a prison
its not easy especially as i do the most contacting and becuase he is sick and also depressed about the situation can go for days without being in touch for days
i just try and think about what he is going through and how much he would want to be here, i try not to try too hard if that makes sense and act as normal as i can tell him junk news day to day stuff, share with him the mundane anything as though we were still together
its going to be tough so first decide whether you still want to be together and if you do then throw everything else away and gt on with your life as though he is on an extended business trip or away at college or something
good luck!

My boyfriend went to jail a few years back, and well it was pretty difficult. I felt alone and really sad about the whole situation.
What I did was keep myself busy, like sewing, or baby-sitting, work, you know just to keep you mind off it. As time goes on, it won't be as hard as the first month. At least you get to visit him and call him right? I used to look forward to those visits and calls. But it just made it harder. You'll get by.

Uusually someone who winds up in jail is a loser and why would you stick around for someone who cared absolutely nothing for you and committed a crime knowing he was probably going to get caught? You need to move on and find someone who has a brain in his head.
