(i dont mind if its a short walk from a tube station which is only a couple of stops from little venice)

Warwick Avenue tube station is close; Maida Vale is not too far away, nor Paddington and Royal Oak in the other direction. Earl's Court is quite a long way away, off Kensington. There's one site here which might be helpful with hostels, otherwise I suggest you try googling in the above areas.

Sorry I can't be of more help! I have a feeling there wouldn't be too many hostels in Little Venice, so you would have to try a bit further afield. Though the area is well served with public transport, and it's easy to get practically anywhere in London from a W9 starting point - or the others I mentioned.

You can get a direct underground train from Paddington near Little Venice to Earls Court on the District line - only takes a short while too.
