36 weeks is a tad early. You want that baby too cook for as long as it wants. It isn't considered full term until 37 weeks.
When labor comes you will know it. I hated hearing that when I was pregnant but it is true.

The last 3rd Trimester~~~
* your uterus has begun to practice for labor and you could experience mild contractions occasionally. These are called Braxton-Hicks contractions.
* you will notice an increase in the amount and thickness of your vaginal discharge.
Signs that labor is coming soon~~~
* you will feel that your baby is pushed further into your pelvis, it exerts pressure on the bladder & the back passage
* your waterbag will break and you will find a clear jelly liquid with some blood spots. at this time, there should be an hour to go to the hospital.
* contractions are coming at 2 to 2 1/2 minute intervals & last up to a minute or so. there will be an overwhelming urge to push..and feels like you having your worst PMS.
but anyway..the experience was well worth it!.. there wont be any pain at all at the 'doorway'.. its just the contractions makes you go ''yeeha!!''
good luck mummy!

Before any braxton hicks, you start "nesting". You probably read about this in your books, but you will literally start preparing yourself. Like, you will arange the crib...AGAIN and you will be sure that your baby wipes are close enough to the diapers and that all of those cute little clothes are all tidy and that your hospital bag is all packed...be sure to have pads, the ones in the hospital are uncomfy and you cant use a tampon. (Havent seen those in a while, eh?) You will know. Don't worry. Congratulations and best of luck to you and your new little one. Have a great labor!

i'm 36 weeks and 5 days pregnant and have been experiencing the comparable concern yet i'm 3 cm dilated and 80%. My dr. says that tough artwork is contained in the close to destiny so in line with risk it truly is an illustration of hard artwork and you're close too. good success!

I was told when having my child that contraction should be 4 min apart to be in full active labor. Your water may or may not break at that time, mine didn't. But I did start to spot.

Losing your mucus plug, breaking your water, and regular contractions that get stronger and closer together causing your cervix to dilate. Good luck and congratulations.
